ABOUT "US"

Craterbound Studio is really just a professional name to put on the game. My name is Daniel Marquez and I am the sole developer of Craterbound. I am a High School senior who lives in Texas and I have around six years of development experience in Unreal Engine 4.

Craterbound started out in June 2021 as a quick project to see how far I could get developing a space survival game in a week. After the week had ended I had some beautiful terrain, a low-poly HAB building, inventory and damage systems, and the first enemy in the game. Obviously, I decided to continue development of Craterbound and have expanded the game far beyond its initial scope.


I like to think that Craterbound has shaped itself. Many aspects of the game which were present only a few months ago have been replaced by bigger and better systems. Now I’m satisfied with the core gameplay elements and want to find Craterbound a community so that they can shape the game according to what they want. I see a lot of potential in what is already present, although I may be a tad biased.
